Interauricular communication is a congenital malformation characterized by a communication between the atrial chambers of the heart.

Epicanthus

A fold of skin starting above the medial aspect of the upper eyelid and arching downward to cover, pass in front of and lateral to the medial canthus.

We report a 9-month-old boy with major features of Neuhauser syndrome, including megalocornea, mental motor retardation, hypotonia, dysmorphic findings (high-arched palate, broad nasal bridge, epicanthus), who also had additional findings such as Peters' anomaly, microcephaly, undescended testicle, patent ductus arteriosus and atrial septal defects.

The major clinical findings include congenital heart defects (several ventricular septal defects, atrial septal defect, patent ductus arteriosus, and double outlet right ventricle), and multiple dysmorphic features, such as brachycephaly, frontal bossing, square shaped face, hypertelorism, epicanthus, short prominent philtrum, and short neck.
