Central diabetes insipidus

Central diabetes insipidus (CDI) is a hypothalamus-pituitary disease characterized by polyuria and polydipsia due to a vasopressin (AVP) deficiency. It can be inherited or acquired (hereditary CDI and acquired CDI; see these terms).

Sinusitis

Inflammation of the paranasal sinuses owing to a viral, bacterial, or fungal infection, allergy, or an autoimmune reaction.

We encountered a 53-year-old male patient with orbital pseudotumor, chronic paranasal sinusitis, fibrous nodules of the lungs, intracranial pachymeningitis, and panhypopituitarism with central diabetes insipidus (DI) as a possible manifestation of multifocal fibrosclerosis.
