OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this report is to describe the case of a 43-year-old male with asthma who was hospitalized for an exacerbation of non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis (NCFB), a chronic lung disease that is characterized by dilation of the airways, persistent cough, chronic sputum production, and recurrent respiratory infections.
