Aspirin-responsive, migraine-like transient cerebral and ocular ischemic attacks and erythromelalgia in JAK2-positive essential thrombocythemia and polycythemia vera.
Michiels JJ, Berneman Z, Gadisseur A, Lam KH, De Raeve H, Schroyens W.
Acta Haematol. 2015;133(1):56-63.
Migraine-like cerebral transient ischemic attacks (MIAs) and ocular ischemic manifestations were the main presenting features in 10 JAK2(V617F)-positive patients studied, with essential thrombocythemia (ET) in 6 and polycythemia vera (PV) in 4.

Concurrent stenoocclusive disease of intracranial and extracranial arteries in a patient with polycythemia vera.
Hua le H, Dodd RL, Schwartz NE.
Case Rep Med. 2012;2012:151767.
A 47-year-old woman with polycythemia vera had multiple transient ischemic attacks, and noninvasive vessel imaging revealed steno-occlusive disease of bilateral supraclinoid internal carotid arteries with moyamoya-type collaterals, proximal left subclavian artery, right vertebral artery origin, bilateral renal arteries, superior mesenteric artery, and right common iliac artery.

OTHER
Transient spinal cord ischemia as presenting manifestation of polycythemia vera.
Costa S, Marques J, Barradas A, Valverde A.
Case Rep Neurol. 2011;3(3):284-8.
We report a patient with spinal cord transient ischemic attacks, a rarely presenting manifestation, and polycythemia vera, which highlights the thrombotic potential of this disease, and the requirement of exhaustive diagnostic workout of a spinal ischemic event.
