Two-dose exposure of intra-arterial chemotherapy for group D retinoblastoma.
Hutchinson A, Kaliki S, Shields CL.
J Pediatr Ophthalmol Strabismus. 2012;49 Online:e15-8.
The authors present a case of group D unilateral sporadic retinoblastoma treated with only two intra-arterial chemotherapy cycles using melphalan, which resulted in tumor regression, resolution of subretinal fluid, and, most importantly, salvage of the life, and the eye.

Parness-Yossifon R, Bryar PJ, Weinstein JL, Srikumaran D, Mets MB.
Am J Ophthalmol. 2009;147(5):903-6.

Repair of late retinal detachment after successful treatment of retinoblastoma.
Madreperla SA, Hungerford JL, Cooling RJ, Sullivan P, Gregor Z.
Retina. 2000;20(1):28-32.
Despite shifting subretinal fluid and no identifiable tear, a rhegmatogenous RD should be considered if it occurs late in patients with otherwise stable, treated retinoblastoma.

Cytologic and biochemical examination of the subretinal fluid in diagnosis of Coats' disease.
Kremer I, Nissenkorn I, Ben-Sira I.
Acta Ophthalmol (Copenh). 1989;67(3):342-6.
As no calcification was found and subretinal fluid aspiration yielded many fat-laden macrophages without any evidence of retinoblastoma cells in addition to a high level of cholesterol, the difinitive diagnosis of Coats' disease was made.
