Mixed connective tissue disease

Mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD) is a rare connective tissue disorder combining clinical features of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), systemic sclerosis (SSc), polymyositis (PM) (see these terms) and/or rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

Thromboembolism

The formation of a blood clot inside a blood vessel that subsequently travels through the blood stream from the site where it formed to another location in the body, generally leading to vascular occlusion at the distant site.
