Sotos syndrome

Sotos syndrome is a rare multisystemic genetic disorder characterized by a typical facial appearance, overgrowth of the body in early life with macrocephaly, and mild to severe intellectual disability.

Hypodontia

A developmental anomaly characterized by a reduced number of teeth, whereby up to 6 teeth are missing.

The purpose of this case report is to highlight the dental management of a 10-year-old boy with Sotos syndrome who presented with hypodontia and dental caries.
